What We Do

~

For over 25 years we have been starting thousands of seeds every winter to grow unique flowers for passionate gardeners. You may discover that long lost flower from Granny’s garden or a unique nicotiana that will be a perfect addition to the flower bed.

Each January Susan’s Annuals.com posts and mails out the lively list of choices. Orders are then taken through mid February. The usual and unusual plants are custom grown and are available at the farm in Maryland to be picked up in early May.

If you do not live close enough to be able to pick up your plants, you may get some inspired ideas of plants to start yourself from seed from “the list”. There are so many seed sources available that there is no reason to settle for dull color or growth habit.

The plants are grown by organic guidelines using sustainable practices in an effort to supply top quality naturally grown flowers to Mid-Atlantic gardeners. We grow extraordinary plants and flowers to the right stage of development to plant right in your garden. Start a gardening adventure with unique plants from Susan Iglehart’s Flowers!

How To Order

~

The list of plants will be uploaded in mid-January. If you are on our mailing list, look for your list and order sheet in the mail. Then mail your order to us. You will receive a confirmation with your order number. Contact us if you do not receive your confirmation.

    Dear Flower Friends,

I have loved being your grower for 30+ years! The opportunity to start your seeds and see your delighted faces on Pick Up day has brought me so much joy.

I will not be growing for the 2024 season. I am focusing on other projects and adventures, and I will miss growing for you.

Thank you again for your many years of business. It has been my honor to grow for you.

    Be well,

    Susan
